Sound a little counterinteruitive? Think again. If you reward your half-century celebration with a Corvette (as tradition dictates), who do you think you’d be fooling? No one, that’s who.

But what if you drove a brand of car that caters to a demographic of which most members are – how can I put this tactfully – on their last few hundred heartbeats? Imagine a day on the road. Looking around, you could be driving the only Buick on the freeway without its left turn signal blinking! Don’t think that gets notice? You’ll also be the only one driving above the speed limit. And when other drivers glance over expecting to see a 70-year-old geezer, imagine their shock upon seeing a 50-years-young stallion with almost all of his original teeth.

Everything’s relative, don’t you see?

How are you suppose to pick up that mid-life crisis blonde driving a Buick?  I would have that Corvette on reserve.

I'd rather walk than drive that car!  I'll take the Corvette!

Id probably much rather have a Park Avenue than a Corvette, dont get wrong i love corvette's too but their too overpriced and not as luxurious.

i think this car is sweet - i thikn corvettes are cheesy. whenever i see a corvette its likely a 50 yr old guy and some suntattered chick with dyed blond hair - not that that is a bad deal if you are fifty but I would rather drive the buick

Law of life: by the time you can finally afford a nice ride, you're too old to look good in it.

That's not a midlife crisis car; it's a rolling coffin.  If you choose to drive that at 50, you're already dead.

yeah I wouldnt buy a park avenue - there are way way too many other cars for a similar price that offer better of any combo of factors - resale, performance, luxury, cost of operations - there isnt a reason to buy this park avenue
