You were expecting maybe a recommendation to cure the woes of the aesthetically-challeneged? What do we look like, plastic surgeons? Sorry, but there is no cure from an automotive standpoint.  

So why an Aztek? Well, mostly because there a few things more disappointing than driving up behind a stunning Porsche, then having to look at a cringe-inducing eyesore of a human being through the driver’s-side window. It’s just so futile, so please be considerate and stop cheapening the sight of beautiful cars for the rest of us. Face it, you will always be ugly, so just admit it and buy an Aztek. At least you and the car compliment each other. After all, if you can’t be attractive, you could at least be consistent.  

I couldn't agree more....whoever designed this vehicle should be fired.  It is horrendous.  That fact that they've sold more than 2 of them is utterly shocking.

So, let's take this a bit further. I think we need an automobile for stupid people. Let's think really hard, what auto could we single out that would be the hallmark of useless functionality. I give you the Chevrolet Silverado Hybrid.



That's right, for 30,000 big ones you can land yourself one of these babies! It's pricey, it's pointless, it's the perfect vehicle for the born sucker. Let's see, it saves you 1 mpg and has a generator on board which is cool if you go camping and hate doing those pesky, annoying things like building campfires and/or cooking on a propane burner. Seems pretty cool and if you're IQ is below a certain level you won't even question how these features can possibly represent a 10k price increase.
 

Not only that, but it's the only hybrid that doesn't earn you the government's federal tax break.  Because its MPG is too low.  Motor Trend also reports that it's the worst-driving hybrid ever, with really prominent surges and stops.

well the aztek one the ugly contest, the silverado hybrid is the nominee for the stupid contest...and it has my vote =)

That boxy thing by Scion, that's pretty darn ugly too.  

Aztec - I think this takes the uglies award, even over the scion toaster.  

I do agree, the Aztek is definately a design flaw.  It's probably one of the most unproportional designs in automobile history.  Did anyone see the small, small, small, muffler right under all that plastic?  Unfortunately, I think just about every Pontiac is in the same league, with exception to the Solstice which is a good-looker if not overly presumptuous in its design because it is still just a Pontiac.  Well, ok the G6 coupe/convertible is swell as well as it did do a fine job of copying the Solara's rear.  

Id have to say that almost all of Saturns cars are reallly ugly...for example click the link below!

I think that 1 Chevy pickup that was designed with that retro look is pretty ugly.  Especially if its the convertible.

The Chevrolet SSR! I think that design takes a while to get used to. At least it is the first sleek pick up!
