its really hard to tell..

but i have a test to perform..  it does require a hand held volt meter. but it can be performed with just a test light.. only test 1 should result in any illumination from the test light..

cleaning the battery cables first ... usually hot water and a stainless steel wire tooth brush .. (homedepot tool isle next to the welders)

this totally depends on where the battery is.. be sure to really wash down the area below the battery to get rid of any acid that washes off the battery during cleaning..

year, make model really helps... even a video uploaded to youtube from your cell phone slowly moving around the engine bay... to i can see the electrical connections.. hold the camera back at least 3 feet as i need to see whats there not whats out of frame..  paste the share link in a reply.. i can handle it from there..
