For the past couple of weeks I noticed a "clunk" in the front-end when turning the steering wheel at a standstill or very low speed. Yesterday I had my son turn the wheel while the car was parked and could see ball joint on the LF being forced upward co-incidental to the "clunk" sound. It appears that new ball joints are needed. I have done a fair amount of auto mechanics over the years and have all the tools and equipment. Is this a simple ball joint replacement or am I getting into something more complicated? Thanks Jim
