How to permanently set dashboard lights brightness in a 2006 Acura TL?

I've got a 2006 TL with Nav trim. In this car there are two independent settings for dashboard light brightness - one for headlights on and one for headlights off. For the longest time, the car remembered each of those brightness levels. Then my battery went completely dead and now I have to change the brightness each time I start the car. How do I permanently set them?

thats covered in the owners manual... do you still have your copy...

if not.. they are probably available on the web for free..

if you don't have it.. and cannot easily find it online.. post again.. i will look one up...
