My 99 Sonoma starts perfectly for about a week, then it seems like it is not getting enough gas all of a sudden. If i wait about ten minutes then it starts fine again. I already changed the fuel filter, but it just happened again. The fuel pump is not excessivly loud and seems to be working fine. Any suggestions?

Have you checked to see if any codes show up?

When your 99 Sonoma won't start check to make sure your getting spark. Then check fuel pressure to see that is with in spec's. To have no codes that come up one of these should be your problem. Your fuel pump might be getting lazy or fuel regulator might be sticking letting fuel bypass. The fuel pump can be working put there is not enought pressure. A hose off in the tank shouldn't let the engine start at all. Good luck
