Whats everyones opinion on this car?  I think its got killer looks for a killer price but lacking in performance.  I definatly think this is one of the nicest looking coupe/convertibles to come out in a while..But its a 2800lb car with 177 bhp.  I feel like Pontiac could have upped the price a bit and given us a little more performance and it would have sold just as well.

I've driven one for about 125 miles. Handles great, handles high wind very well. Performance was OK. There will be a 2.0 Turbo engine late this summer, supposed to be around 270 HP. Also an automatic trans commung soon. Seats were fairly comfortable and ride quality was better than I expected. I like the car alot, if your in to a two seater roadster with room in the truck for two shoe boxes.

Cool. Its good to here a personal experience about this car.  I was unaware of a turbo version coming out.  That should be alot of fun, and definatly a car I would consider buying.

I just had my first encounter with one on my way home from Vegas last weekend.  Definitely a nice looking car, like originally said, really slow, like I also previously stated.  It Definitely  seemed stable, not much body roll at high speeds.  Serious lack in power.  I can only hope for the turbo version you guys spoke of.

I have been seeing more and more of them on the streets and the more of them I see the less and less i'm begining to like them.  My co-worker had one for a week or so to write a review on it, and I saw it here everday, and every day it became less and less attractive

O well what are you gonna do.

I hear it's the number 1 selling roadster in the US for 2006. It beat the Miata after 9 years at the top. I prefer the Saturn Sky to look at which is based on the same chassis etc. And then of course there's the new folding-hardtop Miata...
