Bye im new to this forum. I was looking at some nitto terra grapplers and some nitto trail grapplers. What is the difference between the two as far as how many miles they will last?

The Terra Grappler is best described as an OE replacement product compared to such others as Goodyear Wrangler SR-A, RT/S; Firestone Destination A/T, BFGoodrich Rugged Trail and other such A/T style tires. The Trail Grappler is a heavier lug tire with a more robust casing and might be better suited for rural or heavier off road use. It has been my experience that the Terra Grappler, when maintained correctly, should yield about 35-45K. The Trail Grappler is a little new to the market to evaluate the mileage expectancy at this point but early feedback points to a little longer treadlife all things being equal.

I hear the wear is a very good wear pattern and can last 40k + miles, but I like my terra but the look of Trail is beautiful. So if the gas mileage doesn't go down horribly it's worth the $100

The Terra Grappler is excellent, while the Trail Grappler is very high quality, it is a little early to tell when it comes to mile expectancy, however they are both excellent, very comparable tires !!!!
