Over the last 2 weeks i have heard a humming noise coming from the right side of my car and it gets louder as i speed up. I have heard from other sources that it could be a bad wheel bearing. So what i was wondering, is it safe to drive this car one last time. I purchased a new truck over the weekend and i am picking it up today. I have to make an 1:45 min trip though to get it. An hour of that time is on the highway. Is it safe to drive it on the highway one last time before ditching the car?
Thanks,

are you trading it in.. hopefully..
its hard to tell if it will make it that far..
it is probably a wheel bearing.. will it fail??????
front rotors are usually captured by the caliper.. so the chance of totally loosing the front wheel is slim..
but anything is possible...
be sure to clean out the trunk and the various storage compartments of stuff you want..
