Someone please help me. I have a problem with my Blazer possibly the transmission.
The problem is when I start it up and leave to go to work it seems like it miss fires (misses) when it goes to shift gears and when it is finally in the final drive gear it seems like it continues to miss at about 2000 rpm. After driving for a while it seems like it goes away but at that point the trans starts to shift really hard. Please, any help is greatly appreciated. I don't know if I should start looking for a new trans or what? Any ideas on cost to rebuild if that is the problem?

You need to scan the computer for codes. It is very possible that the problem is not in the trans. For certain electronic or mechanical problems that the computer senses via  the engine management control system the computer will increase line pressure in the transmission to cause hard shifting and alert you that there is a problem.
