I have a 2000 chevy s10 Blazer 2WD with a bad trans. I want to replace it with a used one.What years will work with this.It has a 4.3 6 cyl.Iam told only one form a 2000 will work.

the id numbers and the tag on the side of the transmission should read on yours.. if original should be 0MSD
i only in one transmission catalog i found.. see 3 years as a DIRECT fit
1998 Vin W Blazer/Astro 4.3L 2WD 8MSD
1999 Vin W Blazer/Astro 4.3L 2WD 9MSD
2000 Vin W Blazer/Astro 4.3L 2WD 0MSD
so it looks like... 98, 99. 2000 4.3 blazers in 2 wheel drive and astro vans.. in 2 wheel drive with the 8th digit of the vin as a ***
