04 liberty with 3.7 engine. I there a video on how to change a fuel injector and is it a moderately easy procedure ??? and is there any special tool needed to actually pull the in jector out ? By the way it is the #2 injector ..
question... how do you know the #2 fuel injector is BAD....do you have a misfire code??? have you checked the ignition system.. verified that spark is not the cause of the misfire??that you don't have a vacuum leak ..???? that you have individually OHMd the injectors and their harness.. have you used an advanced scan tool to do a cylinder drop test that can turn off individual injectors.. i like to know things.. before you tear things apart only chasing ghost problems.. the injectors are on a fuel rail ... there are clips that hold the fuel injectors to the fuel rail... the injectors are carefully removed with the fuel rail in ONE piece..the injectors can then be carefully removed and replaced.
you will probably need some kind of quick release tool to disconnect the fuel line.. from the fuel rail.
