Hello, this is my first post on these forums.
I am trying to buy a used car to get me to and from college an work. Ideally I would like the car to last as long as possible...

So I found a 1997 Nissan Maxima with 167,000 miles for $2500
Do you think this car would be good for me? I read that this certain model is very reliable and can last a long time. Is this true? Is this an okay price for the car? Bottom line:should I buy it?

Nissan Maxima is a reliable and dependable car. You do not have to worry about the performance of this car. But the only issue is 167k miles so far. I feel it is a bit more. But if you find this car in a good condition then you can go for it. But do check properly before buying...
