cv-axles need replaced BAD!!!!

1996 Isuzu Trooper 3.2L 4wheel/drive.if i had a diagram/instuctions i just might be able to figure this out.The splined shaft that goes in the differential does not have a ring cut out on the end like ones that u push inand it clicks.Youknow what i mean? It has continuios splines,with no circle cut out.Canyou help? automatic trans.Replacing both sides.
