Cadillac Oil Leaks

The Cadillac Northstar Engines seem to be infamous for oil leaks.
Is there any additive that can slow these pan leaks that use the rubber
"o"rings as gaskets ? These pans are not easily accessable !

be sure to read the comments at the end...

incase you missed out..

you can.. with the proper tooling..  support the engine from the top and drop the sub frame then the transmission..  so you can get at the oil pan and the rear main seal and adaptor gaskets/seals..

i don't know about the other guys..  

but i almost always use permatex ULTRA GREY  on almost everything..
