So just when I thought my car problems where over something else breaks. Actually my passenger side window allways had a hard time opening and closing when it got to the halfway point but now it wont go over the "hill". It is like getting jammed when it gets halfway. I tried assisting it by pulling up and pressing the raise window button at the same time but it doesnt help. You can see it the picture how the glass also shift toward the front of the car. I took the inner side panel off but I sill cant seem to get a good look inside there. I dont think I can take off the metal panel because its welded...

you window regulator is probably bad..
it could be several other problems like binding window channel rubber or bad window guide bushings..
i was looking for a parts diagram.. i see the glass is shoved forward.. so that will prevent it from sliding up fully..
this is what the window regulator looks like...

i am taking thats a 2000 honda civic EX 2 door.. as there are differences...
do you have a honda manual....
if you are not familiar with how a power window works... and what the parts ***
if you have a junk yard with a auto glass shop.. or independent glass shops around.. some will do this ...

there are 6 mm bolts or nuts in various locations on that.. that attach everything but the horizontal bar to the door...
there are 2 fasteners.. probably more of the same that attach the horizontal bar to the bottom of the window...
this usually takes 2 people ... one to hold the glass up while the other works inside the door...
once the regulator is free.. it slides out of one of the openings if its in a collapsed position..
please DON'T drop the glass... if you do you can break it... or chop your hands open... remember the french revolution??? a shop rag over the top of the door frame... and duct tape over that to both sides of the glass will hold it up without damage usually.. be sure to fold the last inch of tape onto its self... sticky to sticky.. so you have a tab to peal it off easier..
don't get duct tape ON the paint...

Thanks. I got it working. After I ripped the plastic covering I could see inside. The window somehow got out of the track slot thing it rides in...

This better be the end of this cars problems!...
Oh. I forgot. My radio doesnt work. Maybe my fuse is blown? I did see a spark and some smoke and fire when I cut the engine harness connector...And it worked before I cut it.
