has anyone done business with bay bridge toyota!!!. i recently purchased a toyota avalon from them paid in full (had to leave the car there to have a new key programmed) i was called 6 days later and asked to pay an extra $2000 or they will sell it to another person who put in a bid???!!. Who sells an already sold car!!
The GM Michael Ianelli did not even have time to talk with me or take care of business--extremely unprofessional place.
please be warned.  

day 2-- more than 24 hrs later. Michael Ianelli the GM of Baybridge toyota still has not called me back. His sales manager informed my that they did eventually sell the car to someone else after depositing my check!!!. now they have not been able to refund me my money at the very least.
who does business like this.

you have a few things to ***

contact the local police department... file a police report...

take that police report copy to the department of motor vehicles...  file a complaint with them..   do you have the sales receipt for the car...  did you write the VIN number of the car on the check???? can you get an image from your account.. showing the front and the back of the check..

contact your bank... see about getting the check reversed...  they put it in a business account..  that would put a stop to what you are doing if you can get your money back..   talk to the BANK manager.. not a regular teller.. they might be able to put a HOLD on the funds...    

sometimes you can go directly to the district attorneys office to file a complaint..

if you are a AAA member..  contact them ..  they have legal staff in house to help members with automotive related problems..

contact a local TV station consumer reporter..

dealerships out here in california would pull stuff like this...   DMV would show up with guns and hand trucks.. close the place down...  haul away the files for research into farther criminal issues..

after the long hiatus. i did report the incidence to the AG office and toyota it self.and the next day they could not stop calling, they sent my check O/N to me compared to the "once we deposit the check we have up to 60 days to refund it".
well case closed.
