I just found this great site for figuring out the actual sales prices of used cars. I used it to find a new Xterra for my daughter after an unfortunate incident with a tree.

They also have an app for my iPhone which I recently purchased. Will come in handy next time I set foot on a used car lot.

Recently came across another site called Pricehub for checking out real prices paid for cars. It looks like they associate the price with a VIN number too, so the data seems to be legit.
