Okay i dont know squat about tires & wheels. My boyfriends truck is a 1991 F-150. He currently has 15" wheels. He got some tires for free but they are 16" can he just put a 16" wheel on and it will work? I found some cheap 16" wheels but they are for a 1997 F-150. Does anyone know if those years are interchangable? I'm trying to surprise him with whels but i dont want to buy something if it wont work. Would appreciate any help on the subject.

Im not surw if the 1997 and 1991 wheels are interchangable but I do know that a tire made for a sixteen inch wheel isnt going to fit on a 15 inch wheel.
