I hit something in my car and bent the radiator and A/C condenser then drove it and it never ran hot but all of the sudden the car just quit like it was out of gas. I installed a salvaged radiator and A/C condenser and got everything hooked back up. But it won't start. It has one of those Dex-Cool systems so I would feel the reservoir and try to start it then refill the reservoir and repeat but it just will not start.

The car is a manual but I installed a radiator from an automatic because I was told it did not matter.

The car is a 2003 Chevrolet Cavalier 2.2L. Please help me asap if you can because I am a broke college student and need my car.

Thanks in advance.

i am taking that the engine still cranks when you turn the key????

if it cranks..

can you hear the fuel pump run for the first 2 seconds after you turn the key on???

if not.. can you feel the fuel pump relay click when you turn the key on.. then 2 seconds later click again to shut off.. then click again when somebody tries to crank the engine...

if you don't.. you can try to swap relays around..

if you don't hear the pump in the tank .. you can have somebody crank the engine while pounding on the bottom of the fuel tank... but it really sounds like you might have lost the fuel pump relay...

U may also take a spark plug and pull one of the spark plug wire off, if u have wires if not u need to pull the module and wire off top and place a spark plug in it and hold it to ground and see if u r getting spark. If u have a tackometer see if it is moving during cranking.
