Back in June, I purchased my 2006 Chrysler Sebring with 32,000 Miles on it for around 11500 after paying taxes and fees. It was my first time buying a car, and I was in a hurry to get one, so I am sure that I didn't get the "deal" that salesman convinced me I was getting. It was in perfect condition when I got it and I still consider it to be. I have not had a single problem with the car since I got it, but I would now like to sell it because I will be moving overseas. When I checked the value on Kelley Blue Book it only set the value at about 7000 dollars. The problem is that I still owe 10,000 on the car and cannot afford to make up for the difference if I sell it for much less. Is 10,000 a reasonable amount to sell this car for in excellent condition. BTW, the car is now up to 40,000 miles. Any input would be extremely helpful. Thank you!

you can ask that for it..

please don't turn it over to someone who says they will take over your payments..  unless they get the approval of the lien holders and the car and the loan is transfered into their names..  then it becomes their loan and their problem to pay for it..

if you just hand somebody your car..  and they say they will take over your payments..  its 99% a scam..

was there any kind of loan insurance when you bought the car??? so if you cannot make the payments .. the policy takes care of it..

you really need to talk to a lawyer who handles automotive issues...   did you join AAA as they have automotive legal advice for members..

i don't know enough about the car sales issue .. since the bank actually owns the car..

you could be left holding the bag..
