the biggest help might be what kind of car is it for...

not every wheel design will be created in every offset..  or every bolt pattern..

here is a link...

http://www.tirereview.com/

when you get there.. across the header is the buyer guide.. it may give you the list of every major wheel manufactrureererr...

with todays technology of taking a billet of raw aluminum.. or a blank forging.. and creating a finished wheel..

there is little need to go without any idea one had..

most rims have holes to allow air flow....

just think of my experience around 1978 at orange county raceway in so cal..  i was attending the manufacturers meet where drag racing was happening..   i was walking past one of the display booths and stopped to talk to one of the reps.. he had straight blade turbine wheels..  i ask why not cast them like a propeller.. and have a set for the left and a set for the right..  so it has some cooling effect for the brakes..  he said it was impossible to cast them this way.. i said.. why.. if you don't overlap the blades..  it can be easily done..  he still said it was impossible..   then he got a funny look on his face.. like i had just handed him a billion dollars.. he turned away .. and i walked away..  directional wheels came out very soon afterwards..   perhaps i did hand him a billion dollars.. at least several million..   do i get any recognition... nope...

you should have attended the sema show in vegas..

i wanted to go.. but alas.. not this year again...
