4.0L 4 speed auotmatic 106000 miles. When in drive transmission starts out in 2nd and shifts up fine. I can put it in 1st and maually shift threw all gears fine. If I accelerate fast from a stop I can fell 1st for a second and then shifts to 2nd and all gears seem fine no slipping. I have had the transmission flushed. The oil was dark but not burnt. I have replaced the TPS sensor, that did not help. There are no codes present. Do you have any ideas. Thank you

It is most likely a bad governor pressure solinoid or governor pressure sensor or the wiring going from the computer to them. 9 out of 10 it's the sensor or solinoid itself. You really should change both.

Thank you for the Suggestion. I did just like you said and the transmission is working great. Thanks again.
