Safe to use 205/65/15 instead of 205/70/15?

I have a '96 Subaru Outback and was offered a private sale deal on 205/65/15 studded snow tires.  205/70/15 are on the car now.  Are there safety issues with this size difference?

You've asked this question elsewhere, and I'll repeat my response.

It's not a good idea to go down in tire size as that also reduces the tire's load carrying capacity.  That increases the risk of a load related tire failure - and those types of failures can sometimes have tragic results.
