Hi, I was wondering if anyone here would know if a 1995 Chevy g20 van 4l60e would be compatible with a 1995 Chevy S-10? And how could I know for sure other than just matching them up? The one I may purchase is a distance away, and I wanted a little reassurance before committing to anything. Is there anything specific I should know or look for?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

For starters i think they have different bell housings. What engine is in each vehicle?

The van is a 350, and the bellhousing has an angle on the lower half (not sure if that says anything about this particular model)... the S-10 has the same angle on the lower front bellhousing but I'm not sure about the motor size. I do know that they are both '95s and was told that the 95's were an only year for that model or something like that. As soon as I can talk to the seller again, I'll see what he knows about the motor.
