Hi, I have a 1999 Honda Civic, 5 speed, 309,000 miles. Recently the car occasionally stalls out while in gear, usually 5th. Have to coast to a stop to re start it, and sometimes takes a few minutes before it will restart. Any ideas on what the problem could be? Thanks!

ignitor failure....(ignition module)

relay failure...

fuel pump failure..  fuel pump relay failure..  is your fuel pump noisy????   does your gas cap make a swishing sound when you take the cap off to refill the tank...   i have run into others that when the fuel was used up.. it created a vacuum that prevented the fuel pump from pushing fuel out..

its a 99... plug in an OBD2 scan tool.. check for codes..

to really help out..

how about which modle you have???

Civic CX
Civic DX
Civic EX
Civic GX
Civic HX
Civic LX
