I have a 2007 Mazda 6 2.3 cylinder non-turbo. It has been messing up for awhile. Ok I'm going to try and describe this problem in detail as much as possible. It started by going into limp mode I guess it's called. We would be driving down the highway and the tcs lights would come on and the car would still be running but you could press the gas all you wanted and it would stay at idle rpms. All you would have to do is turn the key off press in the clutch and pop the clutch and it would go back to normal and continue on down the road. The check engine light would be on but when the car was parked for a number of hours the light would go off and the car would run fine. I will say that when the light would come on the car would idle horribly and run like crap. The gas mileage decreased significantly. We came to a stop light the other night and the car completely died and would not restart this time. It's turning over. Now I ran a code scan on the car and came up with these two codes.
P2107 Throttle Actuator Control Module Processor P2135 Throttle/Pedal/Switch A/B Voltage Correlation
Now I searched for this problem and Mazda s specifically and came up with the conclusion that some of the Mazda s came out with bad tps sensors however Mazda has not recalled it? Now the only problem is the tps sensor on this car is riveted to the throttle body so you have to change the whole throttle body and cant change just the sensor? No part store has been able to locate a throttle body for my car and Mazda wants $850 just for the part. I have found one in the junk yard for $150. I'm basically looking for ideas and suggestions if it could be something else causing this or if someone has had this problem before and could help me out. Thanks in advance and God Bless!

i have not run into this exact problem yet...
i will look around in the next few days.. see if i can find anything.
there are several dozen various parts manufacturers that are always coming up with something to fix these problems..
do you own a scan tool that will display the live data stream from these components..
do you own a digital volt meter to verify the engine and body grounds first.. verify that a loose ground wire is NOT a problem..
that is the first place i ALWAYS start at..
start the engine.. turn on the headlights...
set digital volt meter to 20 volts dc..
1. positive to negative battery.. 14.1 to 14.8 volts.
2 change setting to 2 volts DC scale.. test negative battery post to engine block.. 0.04 volts is expected.
3.. negative battery post to the body.. 0.02 volts dc..
4. engine block to body.. 0.02 volts DC..
if you get more than the numbers i have posted.. fix the grounds between the parts you find with larger numbers.. post the results ..
it took me longer to type this out than it should to do the post..
i can do this test in under 2 minutes..
engine running.. headlights on..
