The tires on my Kia Forte SX 2010 are the original - Goodyear Eagle LS with about 25,000 miles on it.  I've been told I need new tires.  The current tires are very noisy and I feel every bump I go over.  I keep reading conflicting reports on various tires and not sure which ones to pick.  Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.  Thank you.

In the event that your Kia actually has P215/45R17 Goodyear LS's on it 25K is really about all you can expect to get mileage wise.  The fact that you feel every bump you drive over is the result of the short sidewall height of this size tire.  With a sidewall height of only 96mm there is very little "give" and almost everything you drive over will have the "feel" transmitted direct to the suspension. Noise could be the result of an irregular tread wear pattern that has developed due to a mechanical issue (alignment, balancing etc).
