I've bought tires from tirerack in the past, but recently came across some other web only shops that seem to have better prices than tirerack. Does anyone have experience with any of these sites:

I have been researching different sites myself and I finally purchased 2 tires from http://tirenomics.com/
Price was great, tires were shipped on time and great service on answering all my questions

I supply tires to a couple of "Etailers". Some of these do not operate out of a brick and mortor structure and rely on "partner" WD's to supply and ship the product that they sell which can somtimes create a less than perfect experience, quite impersonal. The local tire store might be more interested in developing a positive relationship with customers via one on one interaction looking to build their customer base. Remember the theme song from "CHEERS", "somtimes it nice to go where everyone knows you name". Just my 2 cents!
