I am wondering how cars like Renault Megane GT or BMW M3 are made. They have some modfications compared to serial production "normal" cars. More styling, protective plastic, etc. It is basically small tuning so they don't like to build it on assembly line. Do they make it on assembly line or do they take it somewhere to external manufacturer? Any idea? Thx
there are dozens of magazines on this site.. here is a search that found a bunch of articles on the Renault Megane Renault Megane articles if the protective plastic you are mentioning is the clear thin film over the paint.. thats covered by several manufacturers for the material and independent dealers for the cutting and installation.. 3m is one of the manufacturers... there are several more of the clear film..
