I am getting occasional beep from my car while driving. The sound is like a watch chime

It occurs every 4-5 minutes

Has it something to do with Brake Fluid.

If yes, then is it safe to ourself check and fix the fluid level or is it important to take it to mechanic.

Any recommendation for Brake Fluid. I am using Toyota Corolla 2004 LE

Is it okay to purchase it from Walmart?

the owners manual in the glove compartment  describes which fluids to use...

Dot 3 is probably what you are going to need.. i have not checked personally...

how do you know that the beep is from the brake fluid level?????

is the brake fluid level level low... the little tank on top of the master cylinder is usually translucent.. you can see the fluid level through the side.. ...

what warning lights are flashing???     what they mean is also in the owners manual ...

if you don't have it...   many are available online as a free down load if you search properly

here is a direct link to toyota owners section...  you will have to join and log in..  but it should be a free download..

you may need your vin number and production date off the door sticker... i have not tried...
