Check engine light is on and scan says there is a misfire on #4. I have 125K miles on it and have not changed the plugs. Apparently this is a 3 -4 hour job to change the plugs and there is no guarantee that will fix the problem. Anybody out there have a similar issue?? How did it work out?

this is what you ignition coils look like...   One per cylinder...  you will want to examine them individually.. marking them by cylinder number first...      if you see any signs of high voltage leaks... you may want to replace a few or all of them...

if the code comes back after changing the spark plugs..you will want to move them around...   see if the problem follows... after clearing the codes...   see if the misfire follows the coil movement..

you might also want to check for vacuum leaks...   collapsed vacuum hoses...  leaking intake manifold gaskets..
