I need to know if I replace the a/c compressor on a 2005 PT Cruiser w/ a 2.4 engine if it has to be from the same kind of motor or if I can get one from a 2.7 or even a 3.3?

there are LOTs of variations on the mounting.. on the outlets on the back... on the pulley size and distance from the mounting...

i don't have an interchange book on these..

some junk yards *** the interchange is called a Hollander interchange guide...
