I am using a modified 2 axle boat trailer for houseboat haul out. The current tire size is P195/70/R14. What minimum tire can I use if the load is 6500#, speed: 5mph, distance: 500 feet? No over road travel, just up on the beach.

I think what you want is the biggest possible tire you can fit on the trailer, and then use the low inflation pressure so it floats on the sand!
