I have this 1992 Cadillac Seville with a serious transmission issue. It's been almost completely stationary for the last three years except a few months ago before replacing all the transmission solenoids, now it wont go into gear. When it was in park it made a clunking noise repeatedly until it made a really loud clunk and stopped. After that it wouldn't do anything. The engine is good enough to pass California smog and the transmission fluid is new. I've read issues other people have had with the T60E transmission but I can't find anyone who had a car that wouldn't move. I think it might be an issue with the the torque converter. Can anyone help diagnose before I replace the transmission?
