I got the smaller slice about a year ago while parking as I grazed those metal curbs that are in some cities. The larger one I got yesterday when the same thing happened.
The smaller slice has never done anything in the time I have had it but the longer one worries me.
Should I be concerned? They are not deep
Thanks

Yes, you should be concerned - and you need to have someone look at them. Without a visual, there's no way anyone can assess how bad the damage is. The tires could blowout tomorrow - or not.

Hi, frogman.
Having worked my way through college at a tire store, and having seen all types of sidewall damage, I can say as a general rule that if your sidewall isn't bulging (broken cords) or sliced down to where you can actually see the cords (they look like little white threads), you're probably in no immediate danger. If you can, however, the tire's trashed and you should stop driving on it immediately.
No matter what, you should have the tire checked out by someone who knows what they're looking for: better safe than sorry. Hope this helps.
