Which tires to keep?

We just inherited a 2005 Chrysler Town and Country with 15,000 miles from my wife's parents. This will be replacing a 2005 Dodge Caravan with 88,000 miles.

The tires on the T&C are original (15,000 miles), Goodyear Integrity made in the 11th week of 2005.  The car has not moved much in the past 6 months.

There are 2 different tires on the Caravan.  The front have Goodrich Traction TA, put in place August of 2009.  They have 22,000 on them. The second pair are Michelin Harmony made in 2008 and have 37,000 miles on them.

So, before we sell the Caravan, we are wondering if we should swap tires.  Beside tread wear, should we consdier the age of the tire? Does three years make a difference?
How about the track record of tires themselves?

The new van seems to drive well on the highway.

Any guidance is appreciated!

Recent bulletins from the tire industry indicate that tires degrade simply due to time.  The age of a tire is important even if the tire is unused.  There some disagreement over how to best express this age limitation, but my take is:

If you live in a hot climate (AZ, CA, NV, TX, and FL) then the limit is six years.  If you live in a cold climate (MN, ND, WI, MT, etc), then the limit is 10 years.  States in between are  ..... ah ........ in between.

Thanks for the information.  We live in Missouri, which puts us squarely in the "in between" category.  Given the low mileage and 7-9 year range on tire degradation, I'm inclined to keep the tires on the T&C.  Given our annual mileage on that vehicle, we probably will replace the tires inside of 8-9 years as it is.
