97 Toyota Avalon AC cools great for 15-20 min then slowly loses all cooling in 45 min. Compressor and cooling fan running (cycling as expected at first then running continuous with no cooling). After auto has not run for a couple hours or so, AC cools great again for a short time and problem repeats all over again. Some say check freon while others say can't be a freon problem. maybe expansion valve (expensive repair). Where should I start?
