Hello everyone,
I am using four Good Year tires. Recently I found that there are a lot of small cracks on the tires. It seems that the tire is broken. Would you please take a look and give me some idea what to do? Is this very dangerous?
I contacted Good Year but they didn't reply. It's seems that they don't even have concern about or interest in the quality of their product.
Thanks a lot in advance.

take it to a good year tire store for a first hand inspection...
tiny surface cracks are usually caused by ozone.. but there could be other causes...
under inflation.. overloading.. excessive heating do to the sun heating the pavement to egg frying temps... age...
there are Date codes on the side wall of the tire...
get a look at usually the inside of your tire... look for the DOT numbers... each tire will have a separate dot number... there are webs sites to look them up.. they could be several years old...
i saw several tires.. that had visible cracks showing.. somebody had seriously overinflated them .. caused the tire casing to expand and the rubber surface split..
this requires a knowledgeable tire salesman to inspect your tires...
and if you don't believe them .. drive away and get a second opinion...
