As a hobby I've made a website that shows graphs of the prices of cars for sale on craigslist.  The site's brand new and I'm still working on it, so please let me know what you think!

Hey thanks a lot!  I'm just fixing some of the technical bits before I 'officially' launch.

I'm just trying to keep the site simple, clean and useful. I think seeing all those data points can help people get a better deal when they're buying a car.

I just went through the buying process myself - I did some simple price analysis and wrote a blog post about it:

I ended up with a great deal on a 2005 Jeep Wrangler.  You can see how that blog post led to the idea for the new site.

i have done the exact same thing...

t the bottom of the page is the contact us link..   tell them what happened..  they do read the email...  will drop you a email with your old user name and a temp password...

you only have 2 posts.. so it really does not matter...

the system prevents the same username from being selected...

i tried using the worthmonkey.. it does a similar thing...

once you get it up and running ..   the worth monkey took off when it was described by the tech guy on KTLA tv in los angeles...  you might try a similar thing.. but be careful that you have enough bandwidth so you don't get hammered for it from your location provider...


i was already using it to look at replacement car for the wife...
