Beyonce is a versatile artist. Not only a singer, but she is also a song writer, actress and fashion designer. The song If I were a Boy is different from her previous songs in the sense that the song is not a traditional R&B song. The lyrics are both a lament for misunderstanding between the genders and an indictment of the male side of relationships.
