i have a 98 cadillac catera with hancook k106 tires on it that need to be changed. does anyone have any history with these. i don't want to buy another set if there is better set for around the same money. i live in new england just so you wil know what type of weather the car will be in. if these are not good, what do you recommend.

merry xmas and thank you for your time,

Yikes!!  Kinda like mixing dirt and water..you get mud! Seriously though, my opinion only, the Catera was a true "tire eater" back in the day.  The factory issue was Goodyear Eagle RS-A and these were part of a replacement campaign back then. They were of an asymmetrical design and suffered from wear issues all their own. If it was my Cadillac Catera I might like a Cooper CS4 or similar symmetrical tread tire, staying away from tires with a directional or asymmetrical tread design and you just may be pleasantly surprised.
