major tune up should include...
checking for engine codes... possibly an air filter... fuel filter..
8 spark plugs...
spark plug wires...
cap and rotor...
on that model.. an Ignition coil if there are any signs of high voltage leakage...
how much it costs.. depends upon the shop.. where they buy their parts at.. how much percentage of the parts they give the mechanic as part of his pay... how much the shop charges per hour...
but tune up.. could be just 3 spark plugs and a rotor... according to some of the regs here in california..
be sure to request all the old parts back at the time you drop your truck off... in writing..
i have not sold a Tune up per say in decades...
i have almost always sold diagnosis... then the parts needed to repair the car..
i have gone in.. and changed everything... still billed individual parts... a tune up was done away with when points were replaced with electronic ignition systems.. that can go .. I have seen them do it.. over 100,000 miles without being touched.. other than to change oil and filters..
i have fixed a LOT of misfirings problems by just replacing the ignition coils.. they tend to leak high voltage as the resistance in the wires increases and the spark plug gap widens with wear...

i would probably also... check the 4 corners of the intake manifold where the intake meets the heads...
there have been serious problems with the intake manifold gaskets leaking...
