Short answer - No.  They are 2 sizes too small.  There's a risk of tire failure.

Obviously you can use 16 inch tire on 16 inch rim e.g 195/55-16 215/70-16 245/45-16 285/75-16

I have an 2002 odyssey. oem tire size is 225/60r/16. i also have a newer odyssey 2010 which has  235/65/16r. when i look at the tires of the older 2002 odyssey the area around the tire appears to have more space compared to the newer 2010.

I would like to use 235/65/16r tires for the older 2002. is it this possible?

According to Discount Tire, the only tire size that works on the older Odyssey is 225/60R16.  Even though there may appear to be space, don't forget the tire may rub when the suspension is fully compressed with the wheels fully turned - and it may rub on suspension parts, rather than body parts.

According to Discount Tire, there is enough room for a 255/50R16 on a Camaro.  just be aware that your speedometer will be reading 1 1/2% slower than you are actually going.  In theory at 60 mph, that mean the speedo will be reading 59 mph.  Be sure to check so you know what the error really is as tire sizing varies a bit.

Sorry for the multiple posts.  There seems to be some issues between my computer and the website.

I liked your answer. I am asking because the tires I looked at are cheaper. But if this means tire damage or vehicle damage, I'll spend the difference. SO PRICE IS THE REASON BEHIND MOST CHANGES.
