Is a dodge stratus coupe a sports car? Im 16 years old and about to get a car...but i want a dodge stratus but i dont know because i hear insurance is high if ur young and have a sports car, i dunno if its true tho, is it? whats the price range, give a guestimation for what the insurance would be a month..and also if u were to put like a 500-750$ downpayment on a used one that normally is around 13-16 thousand how much do u think the payment per month would be around *guestimate please* and when u buy a used car what should the mileage be around to be a good car to buy?

Wow, you need like a how to buy a used car book or something.  Try reliable car for your first car and thank yourself later, you will.
 If you have to have it, pay as much as you can up front for a lower monthly payment.  Insurance will be expensive anyway, you're 16 man.  There ain't no breaks for a 16 year old.  The mileage should be around where it makes the car cheaper than 13-16k  If you're buying used, try not to spend more than 12-14k on any car because it's already used....
 Lots of cars are cheap with 100k miles (used hondas, nissan, toyota) and that makes them cheaper to insure, register, etc... it WILL save you money for a better new car later. Plus, those cars will go another 150-250k miles just on oil changes and routine stuff.
 All you need right now is something reliable, good on gas, but fun to drive and can get onto the freeway without trouble.  And stay the heck away from speeding and tickets and crazy driving cause insurance gets real expensive if you don't.
