It seems that these last couple of years and today's consumers have been wanting two things out of there vehicles, fuel efficiency and quality!! Quality has been a deciding factor that has turn the pages on a lot of consumers opinions today, just look at Ford and Toyota. However, there are still those skeptical and those with strong opinions about the quality and performance of the Detroit Three compared to the foreign automakers. Well hopefully this will change some people's minds:

Warranty claims have fallen 45 percent at GM from 2007 levels, while Ford reduced warranty repair rates an average of more than 40 percent in each global business region from 2007 through last year, according to initial quality reports.

At Chrysler, the smallest of the Big Three and the one with the most quality problems, warranty claims are down 48 percent in the past two years....They dropped 30 percent in 2008, to their lowest level, and continued to fall to a record in 2009.

Clearly the Detroit Three are pushing to better themselves every day. Any thoughts or comments??
