Hi guys! I'm not a car guru, so I decided to ask the experts!

So here's the story.  I just upgraded all 4 speakers in my car and bought a 5 channel amp (sub still to come) but the road noise in my car is so bad I feel cheated.  I know I can add dampener to the door panels, etc, but I'd rather upgrade the tires first from what came with my 06 Subaru impreza 2.5i and see how much that helps.  I think they're due for a change soon anyway.

The Walmart website says my manufacturer's specs are: 205/55R16 89V - I don't know if I can put anything besides that measurement on my car.

In short, I want 4 new tires that (1) have good fuel economy and (2) low road noise.  Don't want to spend extra on a "performance" tire, a "passenger" tire will be fine (I assume).  What do you guys recommend?  And no I'm not too lazy to find out for myself, just too ignorant about tires.  I've never bought new tires before, only used ones from local used tire stores.

I was hoping to spend around $80 per tire but that's just an approximate

Thanks in advance for any help!!
