Toyota, the once leader in quality and consumer trust, faces criticism once again. According to our "congressional leaders" Toyota has been focusing on covering up the problems and informing the public that there is nothing wrong with Toyota vehicles instead of actually finding solutions to the issues and fixing the problems.

Rep. Bart Stupak, D-Menominee, chairman of the House Energy and Commerce Committee's oversight panel, accused Toyota of performing "damage control" rather than focusing on finding answers to the problems behind its recall of more than 8.5 million vehicles worldwide for sudden acceleration concerns.

"Toyota appears to have been more interested in messaging than scientific inquiry," Stupak said at today's start of another congressional hearing on Toyota's recall woes.

It's interesting to see Toyota being taken apart left and right. Now I'll be the first to admit that I'm not a Toyota fan in any way, shape, or form but to accuse the largest Automaker of hiding all the problems is a pretty bold statement...specially when after reading the article they really have no actual proof to back up there accusations. What do you guys think?? You think Toyota is hiding more than it's letting to believe??
