My 2010 EX35 shuts off while driving on freeways and surface streets. It has 4400 miles, and has done it three times so far - the first at only 1600 miles. Infiniti cannot find anything wrong with the car. I found old blogs from 2003 with what seems to be the same issue on G35 models. All power stays on (radio, lights, power steering) - however the engine dies and has to be put in park and restarted in order for the car to move. Has anyone else had this happen? It is very dangerous and Infiniti can't find the problem, therefore, they aren't able to try to fix it.

I have a 2006 G35 Coupe that the engine has shut off 3 times now. Its actually in the shop as we speak. They replaced the entire fuel system last time, the O2 sensor and now they say its an ignition problem. I too was almost in an accident on the Parkway because of this. I contacted Infinit Consumer Affairs twice. Send me your contact info (email) to niki245@hotmail.com and we can chat private

ME TOOOOO. I'm having the same problem as you guys with my EX35. Could you please shed some light about this issue? The EX35 was purchased brand new in 2008 and it now has 19K mileage on it. The engine shuts off while driving has happened twice already. First time happened about 1 month ago. I was making a right turn on an intersection driving about 15 miles per hour and the engine just shut-ted off. The car won't start afterward (the starter cranks normal but the engine just won't start. It seems like there is no gas going into the fill injection). After resting the car for about 30 minutes, I was able to start the car normally and everything was fine again. I drove it to the dealship and they couldn't find anything wrong with it. I was informed to continue to drive it. The second time with the engene shuts off while driving happened today around 6:30pm. I was driving about 30 miles per hour going straight on a local street and the engine just shut-off for some strange reason. My gas tank is about 25%full. the car has about 19K miles on it. (same issue, the car won't start again. After towing it back to my house, it starts fine again) I always service this car on time. The last oil change was 4days ago in the dealership. Questions: 1) has this issue on your car ever get fixed? 2) what's wrong with it? ( what are the parts that got replaced or fixed?) 3) was it covered under warranty? 4) is this a known issue?
I called roadside assistance and scheduled to tow it back to the dealership tomorrow morning. I'm not to going drive it there this time since I was told to leaving it alone if it happens again. Thanks in advance,

Update:
According to the dealership, the error code from the car pointed to a bad fuel pump. After replacing the fuel pump, the EX35 is running fine so far. I hope this is the end for this issue.

Would anyone happen to have updated information regarding this issue. Over the past 3 weeks my 2008 Infiniti G35 Sport has shutoff entirely 4 times while driving. All lights appear on dash but hard to move from drive to park to restart engine. Has happend on flat surfaces and one time traveling up a hill in traffic. The car has been at the dealership for almost two weeks and they can't figure it out. This is a HUGE accident waiting to happen.
