would have not believed it, if it didn't work like the post  had said.  The posts said to hit the key with a rubber mallot, a nice hammer worked for me. Thank you so much.
We have the second transmission in, that only worked for 3 months and broke down again, replaced blower motors, replaced heater tubes, done many other repairs.  I was just glad to have the van start, and I am all for Buying American, to keep Americans working, but Chrysler has some serious issues, make a quality car, that lasts, and you would not have all the problems that you do! Thank you for the hammer trick, I hope to try cleaning the ignition out tomorrow.
